<p>This dataset contains the information pulled on an annual basis from the Division of Waters Unity database. Locations are the intersection of the high resolution NHD stream line and the visual inspection of the dam on the current Ortho imagery for Indiana. This dataset contains "ALL" dams and lake control structures listed in the DOW Unity Database. The state regualted dams can be filtered by using the "State_Regulated" attribute field by choosing " = Y". Most visual maps used within DOW have symbols set to designate the Dam Hazard Potential of "Low", "Significant", and "High". See IC 14-27-7.5 Regulation of Dams.</p><p><br /></p> |
