Indiana Rural-Urban Line Inventory created as an ESRI polyline shapefile consisting of a Feature polyline geometry. The data set was compiled by Road Inventory of the Indiana GIS Department of Transportation (INDOT) . Dataset is classified as sde Feature Class. Each Rural-Urban Line Inventory is placed as to Position, From and To Measure, by Route, and contains the following classifications by type; Outside Urban (Rural)-Outside corporation, Inside Urban (Urban)-Inside Corporation, Inside Urban (Urban)-Outside Corporation, and Outside Urban (Rural)-Inside Corporation. These classification types indicate the relationship of a road to federal urban boundary and the incorporated limits of the cities and towns.
